Sarah's artistic journey is interwoven with a spirit of adventure and a love for the great outdoors. From teaching English in Vietnam to traversing the world's oceans aboard Super Yachts, she has collected experiences as diverse as the landscapes she paints.
Returning to her roots on the Kapiti Coast in 2015, Sarah has found inspiration in the tranquil shores and rugged beauty of her West Coast surroundings. Nestled in her beach house, lovingly renovated over eight years (and still going), she channels her worldly experiences into vibrant resin art and mixed media creations.
When not immersed in her art, Sarah and her partner embrace the outdoors with their caravan, venturing to new beaches across the Motu (Island). They share a love for surfing, riding waves in the perfect swell, and relishing fishing expeditions in their little boat, savouring the gifts of Tangaroa, the Maori god of the sea. Additionally, they both cherish snowboarding adventures, carving through the slopes, and revelling in the magic of winter.
Throughout her journey, Sarah's old cat, Jaspa, remains a faithful companion, a silent witness to her adventures and artistic endeavours. Together, they embody a life of passion, curiosity, and an unwavering appreciation for the beauty surrounding them.
